Projects
Here are some projects of mine I would like to share!
Revising email
Editing professional email using word.
In a recent project, I utilized Word's revision tracking technology to refine an email draft. After making edits, I rewrote the email in a more professional tone, suitable for an office setting. I then sent the revised email to my supervisor for feedback and provided screenshots of the process. This experience demonstrated my attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, and commitment to improving my professional skills.

Excel Data Tracking & Analysis
Pivot charts/ bar graphs from raw data
In a recent project, I took raw data and transformed it into various charts and pivot tables, categorizing by product and profit. I then created a detailed table of contents for each analysis and provided insights on which products were underperforming in terms of profit. This analysis helped guide decision-making on whether to continue production for certain items, demonstrating my ability to interpret data and present actionable insights for business strategy.

SQL Data Analysis project: DB Fundamentals
Using Oracle Live SQL
In this project, I used SQL to analyze sales data for Downtown Office Supply, a small business, to help them make informed decisions about product offerings and staffing. I wrote queries to categorize and filter product data, calculate sales profits, and analyze order priorities. Key tasks included listing product categories, counting critical orders, analyzing orders within a specific date range, and calculating profits from specific product categories. This project honed my skills in SQL querying, data analysis, and providing actionable insights from raw business data.

Team Presentation & Internship Pitch
Working with a team
During a class project, my team and I quickly developed a persuasive presentation to showcase our company’s upcoming projects to potential interns. We focused on highlighting key initiatives, the value of the projects, and how interns could contribute to their success. This experience sharpened my teamwork, presentation, and persuasive communication skills, while demonstrating my ability to work under pressure and present ideas clearly.

Feedback from peers
How I feel giving/receiving feedback
Throughout the course, my classmates and I regularly exchanged constructive feedback to improve our assignments. We provided both positive and constructive criticism, offering advice on how to enhance each other's work. This process helped refine our individual and group projects, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. It also strengthened my ability to give and receive feedback, collaborate effectively, and make thoughtful revisions based on peer insights.
